HI, I'M KATE

Well, it all started with brows.

We've all had our own beauty or self-discovery journey & mine began with an eager big sister and slant-tip tweezers. She had a plan & a target (me). I fought, I pleaded, I bargained...but I was no match for her. I did, however, leave with tamed brows and a whole new 9 year old lease on life - I was The Moment. From then on I relinquished myself to a life of skincare addiction - tried all the trends, had some serious makeup blunders and tweezed those brows into slits in the 00's. Since then I've grown in skill, grown in...eyebrows & became much more thoughtful about my makeup choices (if I could ever figure out how to dress though, I would be unstoppable).

I spent over a decade as a Veterinary Technician drawing blood, placing catheters & getting a few battle scars on the job but the emotional intensity took a toll on my heart. I then decided to start petsitting for a few people and ended up building an extremely loyal client base - many of which I still have to this day!

After years of denying my interest in skincare and makeup artistry I decided to go back to school to become an Esthetician. After school I dove directly into continuing education with a special interest in korean skincare, anti-aging, acne, lash lifts, brows, advanced machines, makeup & most recently, sugaring!

*Update* I have now done TV Commercial work as a Makeup Artist as well as a lead bridal makeup artist!

I am a mom and a sister, I can be a soft place to land after a rough day (facials usually include a massage - or they can be skipped if that sounds like a sensory nightmare to you), a good laugh during the awkward moments & easy to talk when you just need to vent.
